It’s time for the Village’s annual Spring Cleanup Program, sponsored by the Village of Algonquin and Groot Industries. This program helps residents clean up their homes, reduce fire hazards, and beautify our neighborhoods.
Best of all, no refuse stickers are required for this special pickup.
Residents may place unwanted household items at the curb, including things like old clothes, toys, couches, beds, dressers, grills, and patio furniture.
Please note that some items cannot be collected, including:
• Landscape waste
• Appliances (white goods)
• Electronics
• Construction materials
• Automobile parts
Collection Dates
If your regular refuse and recycling pickup is Thursday, your Spring Cleanup Day is April 25.
If your regular refuse and recycling pickup is on Friday, your Spring Cleanup Day is May 2.
Important: Please have all items placed at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your designated collection day.
